Level 48

Rules :

- DO NOT post answers, links, screenshots or level's elements. You'll get banned if you spoil the pleasure of others, even if they ask for.

If you request some help :

Don't be too specific but don't be too vague. It's rather hard to find the right way to ask but imagine yourself in a room with other players. You can't whisper and you need to solve a riddle, you have the right to ask for a clue those who have already solved it, but you don't want the other players to find before you. To understand what you're asking for, one should be at the same step. Don't spoil the steps for the others ! You can use metaphors if you want. Show us that you're smart!

Read this topic carefully, your question may have already been asked (and answered). There's no need to ask the same question twice, even if there's no answer.

If you help somebody :

Don't help him too much, don't deprive him the pleasure to find by himself, just guide him on the way without being too specific, using as much images, metaphors and maybe other riddles as you can. After all, you're smart too wink!

If everybody plays by the rules, things will be much more funny and no one will get hurt.

Write in a correct language, ban SMS style and try to avoid spelling mistakes as much as possible.

Re: Level 48

I'm absolutely lost on this level.  I've tried translating the clue with about 4 different translators and I get 3 different answers.  One of them says that jacta isn't even a real word.   hmm
So, umm, any suggestions on where to start with this cause I can't even figure out what the clue is much less what the leaves even mean or say.

**Edit**
Just to be more clear I know what language it is but as I said I've used 4 different translators and I get a different answer from each one as to what the clue translates into.  And one of them says that jacta isn't even a word so I'm kind of lost.  Which translator is the correct one and which are giving me fales answers?

Re: Level 48

I know both names for the leaves and translated the page title and the clue using the language that the leaves gave me but now I'm stuck.

I've tried to translate the leaves using the same language with and without the unused letters but get no results.

A nudge would be lovely thanks smile

I think it's a part of the riddle.

You must recognize the language. Then what does language have in common with leaves?

Re: Level 48

Posts above provide many clues. If you put items together, you should find a lot of info on Google and Wikipedia.

Nothing, but once you put all clues together, they may direct you towards the solution..

Re: Level 48

Don´t overthink the historical context. Actualy, this level suffers from "too many unnecessary information" syndrom. Rather concentrate on one well hidden clue (which would deserve some explanation as well, if you ask me)

Re: Level 48

Don't get too frustrated with this riddle, if you can't find anything, just  shift  your focus to another part of the riddle, where a clue could be hidden.

Haha this is the most confusing 'clue' ever! I don't know, I guess "language" as a concept and "leaves" don't have too many overlapping features...

Re: Level 48

The word that i found is the same in English, as I know. Or at least, i couldn't find it on the internet... Finding the word was easy, but could somebody help me, and tell me what is it in english?

Re: Level 48

Finally past this level thanks to assistance from an outside source. Most of the help that was given in this thread was not helpful imo, other than Fenix's post #17. You can actually end up wasting more time following some of the hints that have been given. The Clue itself is more likely to waste your time than help imo.

The thing to be aware of for this riddle is that you won't be completely sure you are on the right track until you've gone through more than one step towards solving it.

Re: Level 48

Definitely not my favorite level... For lack of better hints in this forum, here are my two cents:

As was said, there is a clue well hidden. But it's simple to get to.
The type of leaves do have significance to history, but to who is it significant? smile
Once you get to the (fairly obvious) last step, you are going to need to do more searching - a language translator did not work for me.

The answer is kind of gross when you think about it. ._. (But that is not really a hint; you wouldn't understand unless you solved this riddle).

Good luck!
