Re: Level 44

Put a little something together into Photoshop to make this easier. Wrote each corresponding letter on each card in black. Each card has a different layer.

Let me see if I get this . . . The opposites must be the two c****s.  But to put opposites together gives us pairs.  That probably isn't what we are looking for.  But if we alternate, that may work.  But there is no clear left to right order, as stated before.  So I am at a dead end right now.

The other thing was this "**" clue that everyone is talking of.  I can't seem to find any other clue besides the clue page.  If it is possible to nudge me along a bit, please do.  I will keep looking in the meantime. ._.

Thank you!

EDIT: Found another clue in the ******..... s****** u**** l****.......? Trying to crack that now.
But I don't see how this clue can be referred to with two letters (the "**" clue), so maybe I am still missing another clue.

Re: Level 44

you have a strange tendency to think out loud...
and apparently, each time you give yourself some, you find the solution.
so please, try a bit more before asking for help wink
(don't forget that overall, levels tend to be more and more difficult, so it'll become normal to spend two weeks on a riddle !)

Re: Level 44

This time, I have come back multiple times after month-long breaks, and I still can't crack this level.

Perhaps I can now get another hint? I'm going back over all of the posts here. I know of two clues - the clue page and the other one with three words.  Are there any others that I am missing?

Thank you.

EDIT: Wait just a second... I can't believe I'm saying this, but I just solved it.  I'm not quite sure how it all worked out though.  I did not expect the t******** to be that...

Re: Level 44

Hi there! After getting all the way to level 48 in the French version in 2005, I'm trying my hand at the English one. So far so good, but I just passed to level 45 by pure guesswork, without understanding the second hidden clue. Can somebody please explain to me how I should have done?
Thanks a bunch smile

Re: Level 44

I have the answer but i have no idea what the second clue (s****** u**** l****) means or how it has any relation to the puzzle.

Re: Level 44

Yes, someone is still active and he suggests not to ask for more direct clues. If you are in trouble describing your current status with this level, you can be more specific in PM.
