Re: Level 78 - GAME OVER

Hey Swan, good to see you again ^^
This riddle seems to be quite mystic !
Do I need to identify precisely each of the 8 "arrows" ?

"Nietzsche is dead" - God -

Re: Level 78 - GAME OVER

Sorry.
Mystic indeed, is it a new thing ?
I can't give answers, only clues.
There is a lot you need to identify.
What you seek is one of them.
Some things are lost in translation.
What est la source ?
Il est impossible de rsoudre ce jeu seul.

Re: Level 78 - GAME OVER

I cannot get moving. I've done the research, learned a lot about things I never saw or knew but I simply can't find where to start. All I have is a lot of questions.

Any nudge for me, anyone?

Re: Level 78 - GAME OVER

I looked around in the forum and I saw some interesting parts and unfortunately, I also saw something I shouldn't have seen sad
But at least I now understand your earlier comment to Toma and I have an idea about what kind of interactivity you were referring to.
However, the question remains: where to start? hmm

Re: Level 78 - GAME OVER

Hello Swan.
Thank you for the great riddles you've made so far.
But I have quite trouble with this level, which kept me thinking over two years....
A slight of hint would be nice.... at least hint about where to begin to search would be very appreciating...

Re: Level 78 - GAME OVER

Sorry I can't give more hints.
I think I've said enough, maybe too much.
This riddle is built in a way that few people can solve it.
I'm very sorry if somebody is feeling cheated by not being able to see the end.
That's why there are multiple endings where you can give up at your leisure, including the starting point of the level.

As for the real end,
a strange masked video is hidding 4 letters that lead to a text file with a reference to another game hidden in this website.
I don't think that anybody has ever reach this point, so I've put the last part on hold until at least one player reaches this point.
If you came this far, please make yourself known in this thread.

Re: Level 78 - GAME OVER

Hello,
I think I have found the video, I'm quite sure it is the right one. However I can't find the 4 letters...
That's why I make myself known in this thread big_smile
Does anyone have found this video? Do not hesitate to send me MP!
Thybalt (and Csmarkus ;D)

Edit: 4 letters found, text found, b* s* s* g* found
I do not know how to use *-->* and *=*
I clearly see "where" to apply these 2 clues, using what's written on the first lign of the text, and what's written on another URL (l*******) ... but how?
Please heeeelp big_smile

Re: Level 78 - GAME OVER

Now that I can detect three of the four letters, I am also beginning to believe that it is the correct video.

Update:
All four letters found and confirmed. What now?

Update 2:
All right. Is it important to understand what you say at 1:47 in B******** S** S*** G*****?

I did, weeks ago. I believe it's your turn now, Swan. Unless this is the end, which would be ... erm... very disappointing for this quality game.
Please answer.

Re: Level 78 - GAME OVER

In the video with the masked man, you can ear 4 words.
Hotel is among them.
On Error AoA I think, you can type the four letters (hotel becomes h).
You get a text teasing another hidden game and a reference to "shirts".

This is the point I was refering to.
It's by no means the end.

You have to play the hidden game first.

But by now everything is broken.
No file is lost but I lost one of the two domains. Several levels, including some parts of the end, use the trick of the two domains.

The farthest you can go is a David Bowie Song.

I was asking about the 4 letters file to see if I can now put the link for the hidden game in it.
This hidden game should have been public, not put in this file, but it's in French for the moment and some parts are unfinished, and things are broken right now.

This hidden game has a door in it, In the very beginning of episode 2, the door can go both ways.
If you know enough about level 78 (or 94 in  French) you know that some letters and some symbols = another letter.
..=..
and
..->..

There should be two words for this door.
One for the mass.
One for the few.

The second word is the way out of Ouverture Facile.

But I'm encountering 4 problems, and I'm sorry for that :

Problem 1
Episode 1 is complete but with missing graphics and "mini games", it's finishable but not in the shape I wanted for a public release.
So Episode 2 is not ready. Technically you don't need the whole episode 2. Only the first scene (I know I'm spoiling a lot, but it's related to problem 3).

Problem 2
The hidden game is in French, so either I translate everything, or I consider that only French players can see the true ending (Hence the multiple "false" endings).
I was waiting to see if anybody had gone as far as the four letters file, because I'm way late for releasing the true end.
The true ending is not required to exit Ouverture Facile, you had been warned, but it's true I want to see anybody go that far.
I'm spoiling but it's because of problem 3 : the hidden game was supposed to be a false public game (no need to finish Ouverture Facile to play). A door with 2 keys, like shown at the beginning of the hidden game. One is hidden "dans le vrai jeu" (in the real game).
Of course, if I can solve problem 3 and problem 1, I could at least offer an unbroken way to the true ending.
Once done, I would erase this post to keep the suprise. But with problem 3, I thought you deserved an explanation.

Problem 3
My web hoster sold the domain name ouverturefacile.com, automatic renewal was supposed to be on. Now it's the propriety of some croocks in Florida.
The game is broken at the moment, I try to get help to find a way to restore it. Nothing is lost, as the server is intact, but the 2 domains thing is messed up.
You could say Ouverture Facile was broken before anybody could see the end of the line, but I want to find a way to overcome this terrible blow. Some help would be.. well.. helpful.
Maybe it's a kickstart to polish it, but without help it will (again) take years, and I don't know if anybody but myself will be here to see that happening wink

Problem 4
I'm the only one, with my wife, to know the scope of this ending. Some were spoiled to help me test the "false" game, but nobody really knew before this post, the true goal of everything.
It's hard to get help If there is a lot you can't say, it's also hard to refrain myself from saying too much to keep the surprise. It's like explaning a joke, it's sad.
Now that problem 3 puts things in jeopardy, maybe help is better than surprise.

All I want now is for this game to have a final form one day, to be playable from start to finish. Even if nobody succeed in beating it.
I long for the day I will erase this post, disappear in thin air, and let you with a game one can finish if he puts his head to it.
