Re: Level 37

This level was a master piece! Definitely tedious but fun at the same time!
Who'd thought that the answer was right under our nose the whole time!  wink

Re: Level 37

Very well-created level.  As tedious as it was for us to complete I am sure it was equally as tedious for you to create, Swan.  Good level.

Re: Level 37

To pass this riddle I spent as much time as I needed to reach this level. I must say that the last clue was unclear to me, and when I've finnaly figured out where may be the error I had to use brute force...

Re: Level 37

I'm still working on it, and I must admit: it's the most tedious yet.
That might be a pormise for future Levels I WILL come across.

But still enjoying myself, and this Level is really a learning experience.

FINALY, I SOLVED THIS ONE

Re: Level 37

Well...rather brilliant, I must admit, having it right there under our noses the whole time. Makes you want to pay even more attention to everything you're doing in case something similar comes along. Surely, however, you'll be one step ahead of us, dear Swan, and keep up us guessing every time.

Was a LOT of work, tho, I gotta say. As always, worth it in the end. Especially loved the "you believed my lie - AGAIN!" bit. Thankfully, that didn't have me puzzled. I love those little extra steps though!

Currently struggling on level 38. Great game, this one, tho it makes me feel rather small and stupid at times :-)...

Re: Level 37

This Level is an example for what is not good in this game. It was too complex. Not the riddle itself, but the work on it. When I got solved the first riddle and got the clue, I had no fun with going back to e*** l**** and do there what I've got to do. This is extremely boring and steals all the fun.

When I understand a riddle I want to go to the next level and dont want to work this long at the same riddle.

So,  to THINKING hard is okay, but not too much WORK please

it shouldn't be hard to go back if you kept notes smile this puzzle has a lot of back tracking... it's a part of the fun wink

Re: Level 37

Probably my least favorite of the first 37, for a few reasons:

1. If you've gotten this far, it's extremely easy to figure out what you have to do.
2. Once you've taken the 5 seconds to figure out what needs to be done, the rest of the work is just that: work. There is no fun involved. I'm doing these puzzles for fun, and this was not fun.
3. Appending digits to the answer is cheating on your part. Come on. If you hadn't provided hints pages for some of the more obvious mistakes, this would be almost inexcusably unfair.
4. The final hint about "lying" is silly. This is an unnecessary and tortuous twist to the puzzle that does not follow from any logic outside this hint -- there are other pages than the one you suggest that we could just as easily skip. It's really lame that this is part of the numerical portion of the answer.

Re: Level 37

it was obvious which one was the lie... and it was obvious which l**** you could skip to to start the answer if you had been paying attention to how the solutions were being presented up to this point, I didn't find it tedious at all, and the answer even makes sense, the only levels I'd complain about are the ones where a new program is introduced with no explanation like 23, and thats just because I find reading manuals annoyingly boring, but as for this level I thought it was just fine, im thinkin a solid 4.

Yes it was, but it's entirely arbitrary that this particular one should be skipped and not any of the others. Every puzzle could have a string of 10 obvious extra hints at the end of it telling you how to modify the answer you already got, but it certainly wouldn't make the game more fun.
